Please note that kindergarten, first, and second grades are surveyed on paper. Tallies may be entered in the RSC online system so that they are included in survey reports.

 

Student Plans & Choices (included for all schools)

These questions are aligned with the 1) paper-based version of the Indiana College and Career Readiness Survey, and 2) the Indiana Department of Education Choices for Achievement Initiative. Responses to these questions will help you understand your student's future plans and determine the degree to students make sound choices in key areas related to high academic achievement, college access, and college completion.

Note: Group data for the school will be publicly available online. Individual student responses will be provided to the student's counselor and colleges if the student has given permission for his or her information to be released.

 

Student Guidance Needs (optional)

These questions are aligned with the Indiana Student Standards for Guidance. Responses to these questions will help you understand the degree to which students believe they have the knowledge and skills needed for academic achievement, college access and college success.

Note: Group data for the school will be publicly available online. Individual student responses will be provided to the student's counselor and colleges if the student has given permission for his or her information to be released.

 

Student Counseling Needs (optional)

These questions are part of Redesigning School Counseling, the process developed by the American Student Achievement Institute that helps Indiana schools to obtain the Indiana Gold Star School Counseling Award and the American School Counselor Association RAMP award. Responses to these questions will help you determine the degree to which various issues may be interfering with students' academic success.

Note: Group data for the school will available to the schools (password protected) but will not be publicly available online. The survey format for this section of the survey makes it impossible to identify individual student responses. All survey questions in this section have a "prefer not to answer" response option.

 

Student Perceptions of the School Counselor (optional)

These questions are aligned with the Indiana Licensing Standards for School Counselors. The responses to these questions will help you understand students' perceptions of their school counselors' knowledge, skills, and dispositions. The survey format for these questions makes it impossible to identify individual student responses.
