Schools that receive the Indiana Gold Star School Counseling Award have verification from an outside reviewer that their school counseling program addresses the academic, career, and citizenship (social-personal) development of their community's young people for the purpose of helping students become successful learners, responsible citizens, and productive members of a global economy.
