The following documents were developed by the Indiana Department of Education with input from representatives of over forty statewide stakeholder groups. These documents represent the foundation of the Indiana Gold Star School Counseling initiative. Collectively, they answer three questions:
- What do students gain from Indiana school counseling programs? (student standards)
- What are the components of a sound school counseling program? (program standards)
- What skills and knowledge do school counselors possess? (licensing standards)
