Student Standards (Voluntary)
- Indiana Student Standards for Guidance
These standards were developed by a representatives of over 30 state-level organizations interested in student guidance. The standarsd were written in response to the following question, "What do Indiana students need to know and be able to do in the areas of academic, career, and citizenship development in order to become 1) successful learners, 2) responsible citizens, and 3) productive members of a global economy?" The Indiana Student Standards for Guidance align with American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Standards.
- Indiana Universal Standards for Guidance
These standards are a subset of the Indiana Student Standards for Guidance. They include the basic guidance standards that all Indiana students should master because doing so supports high achievement.
