Redesigning School Counseling - Webcast Series

The American Student Achievement Institute provides leadership development for schools interested in redesigning their school counseling programs. Participating schools create a Steering Team consisting of two to six members.  The Steering Team participates in a series of webcasts.  The first webcast is held in the spring.  The Steering Team learns about the RSC system and data collection.  After collecting data, the Steering Team participates in monthly webcasts (see below) during the following school year.  Between webcasts, the Steering Team (1) leads a local Advisory Council through a series of discussions designed to help the school develop a vision-based, data-driven, and accountable school counseling program, and (2) completes "homework" related to various components of their redesigned school counseling program.
