Redesigning School Counseling Workshop Series
RSC Workshop Series Registrtion
The American Student Achievement Institute provides schools participating in the RSC Workshop Series with:
- Leadership Development Training
- School Counseling Advisory Council Tools
- Program Research and Development Tools
- Online School Counseling Program Portfolio (customized)
Participating schools send a Steering Team consisting of two to six members to a series of five workshops. At the first workshop, which is held in the spring, schools learn about the RSC system and data collection. After collecting data, the Steering Team attends four workshops during the following school year. Between workshops, the Steering Team 1) gathers input about various aspects of the school counseling program from a local School Counseling Advisory Council, and 2) uses that input to complete various sections of an online School Counseling Portfolio. At the completion of the process, schools will be ready to implement a school counseling program designed to help students make appropriate choices in areas related to educational success.
